It is with great sadness the UFA announces the passing of ACTIVE Firefighter Michael H. Gebert of Engine 324.

He fought hard to beat cancer in which he unfortunately succumbed to at the age of 28. He was a 6 year member of the department.

It is with deep regret the department announces the passing of Active Firefighter Joseph P. Mulvey, Engine Company 325, who passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 after succumbing to injuries sustained while off duty. FF Mulvey served our great department for 19 years. He is survived by his spouse Katelyn, children: Joseph (age 5) and Charlotte (age 3), as well as several extended family and friends.

Firefighter Hronec served our great department for 18 years. He is survived by his spouse Dolores, son Thomas, granddaughter Zofia, as well as several extended family and friends.

Sadly and unexpectedly, we lost our beloved brother Joseph Mulvey. Joe was a fantastic friend, a loving father and husband, and one of the most respected firefighters on the job. Joe positively impacted all the people in his life, and his kindness was apparent to anyone lucky enough to meet him.

We are asking for your help to support Joe's wife Katelyn, and his two children, Joseph and Charlotte, through this tragic time.
