Thank you to everyone that made it out to Halloween on Court Square! We saw and loved some fantastic and creative costumes.

Thank you to all of our businesses that participated in trick or treating. Thank you Kevin Lamar Owens, Susie the Clown, Woodstock Fire Department Auxiliary, Blue Ridge Popcorn Co., Mini Menagerie Petting Zoo, The Woodstock Library, Colloquia Art's special guest artist and Gifts Giving Back. And big thanks to our volunteers and Massanutten Military Academy Alumni cadets for holding down the activities and of course our Public Works Department who come out and transform Court Street for each and every event.

Here are the locations of every fun, spooky, and wonderfully odd pumpkin head character display in Town. 🎃

THANK YOU to everyone who took part! Every year, visitors from out of town contact us asking when the characters will be out so they can plan a trip to see them. We love that something so simple and imperfect brings so much joy to our residents and visitors!

The results of the residential pumpkin character displays are in and we think this is possibly the best year yet! Our Town has SO MUCH talent and we're happy you all love to share it!

Our winner this year is Megan Bowers at 508 Stephenson Court! Her characters are from the new movie, Project Hail Mary, and if you drop by to see them for yourself, you'll understand why she floated to the top because her hand painted face of Ryan Gosling is 💯👌and the alien is pretty awesome!!!!!!

Make sure to visit the other 5 in town at the addresses below because they are VERY, VERY creative!!

Halloween on Court Square has been a Woodstock favorite for over 15 years (we might be pushing 20 TBH) so make sure to bring the kids downtown in costume this Saturday, October 31, anytime from 11 am to 1:30 pm. Here are just a few reasons you don't want to miss it!

🏪 Trick-or-treat at our local businesses and non-profits
🐴 Pet the cutest animals from Mini Menagerie Petting Zoo
🎨 Meet acclaimed contemporary artist, Rafal Zawistowski, and paint a forest scene with him at Colloquia Art
🎩 Catch a magic show on the main stage
👩‍🎨 Create themed crafts and have your child's face painted by The Woodstock Library
🎃 Paint a pumpkin to take home
🌭 Grab a hot dog, chips, and drink courtesy of Woodstock Fire Department Auxiliary (free will offering appreciated) and delicious popcorn from Blue Ridge Popcorn Co.

It will be so much fun and we're excited to see you Saturday!

Colloquia Art is hosting an acclaimed contemporary artist, Raf Zawistowski, this Saturday from 1-6 pm at the studio located at 115 North Main but what is even cooler is that Halloween on Court Square attendees can create forest scenes with him during the event!! This is a unique opportunity to meet and talk with a visiting artist who has been recognized internationally and who creates some REALLY cool art!

Don't miss it this Saturday from 11 am to 1:30 pm!
