A great portrait captures more than just a smile. It captures a story!

This week, Noah Shenandoah visits with Depiction Portraits by Diana in the Town of Woodstock, Virginia, to meet owner and photographer Diana!
Join Noah as he discovers what it means to be “thoughtfully portrayed,” how Diana helps even the most camera-shy people feel confident in front of the lens, and who she'd choose to photograph if she could pick anyone in history!

Join Noah Shenandoah this week as he visits with Dale, General Manager of James River Equipment, to talk equipment, technology, farming, and serving customers across the Shenandoah Valley. Dale shares what’s helped the family-owned company reach 100 years, how his team matches customers with the right equipment, and some of the surprising things today’s John Deere machines can do.

And since Dale is a farmer himself, Noah had to ask: If you could take any piece of equipment on the lot home to your farm, what would it be and why?

Be sure to stick around to the end for a true Shenandoah County experience... a little drive down Main Street in a John Deere 6M 155!

Ready to escape, unwind, and reconnect with nature?

This week, Noah Shenandoah visits Postcard Cabins – Shenandoah North in Basye, Virginia, where General Manager William shares how they’ve created a stress-free, effortless way to escape and enjoy the great outdoors!

They talk about the idea behind these picture-perfect escapes, the thoughtful work that happens behind the scenes, and how a little time in nature can help guests reset, reconnect, and restore.

And Noah had to ask: What’s one thing people think they can’t live without… until they get here?

Postcard Cabins is part of the Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy.

We are proud to partner with Shenandoah County Public Schools to bring Entrepreneurship training and education to students at Triplett Tech.
As part of John's pursuit of his Entrepreneurship Certification through International Economic Development Council, Shenandoah County Business Retention & Expansion Manager, John Fogle has been working alongside staff at Triplett to develop coursework that will be incorporated into the curriculum to help students looking to one day start their own business. This effort is just one example of our work to support small business development throughout Shenandoah County.

How far back can you trace your family story?
This week, Noah Shenandoah visits with Diane, owner of Shenandoah Family Historian Services (and Researcher for the Shenandoah County Historical Society), to talk about uncovering the people and stories in our family trees! Diane has researched family history for more than 50 years! She shares how it all started, where she begins when someone needs help tracing their roots, and one of the toughest genealogy “brick walls” she’s ever tackled. And Noah had to ask: If Diane could sit down to dinner with one person from her own family tree, who would it be and why?

Industrial Buildings may be in short supply but the Town of Strasburg has two great options for manufacturers looking to locate along the I-81 corridor.

Located at the crossroads of I-81 and I-66, One Shenandoah and the Queen Street Campus both offer easy access to 2/3 of the country's population and ample power supplies to meet modern industrial demands.

What if the place you vacationed was also the place you called home?
This week, Noah Shenandoah visited with Paul, Kemp, and Rich of Creekside Realty Group LLC, a team that knows the Bryce/Basye market and the lifestyle that comes with it!
We talked about what makes this area such a special place to call home, how Creekside’s unique agent-owner approach shapes the way they serve their clients, and some of the changes they’ve seen around Bryce over the years.
And after seeing a LOT of houses, we had to ask… what’s the funniest thing that’s ever happened during a showing? 😊

Do you remember the feeling of collecting cards as a kid?
This week, Noah Shenandoah stops by Vaulted Cards in the Town of Woodstock, Virginia, where a lifelong love of collecting has grown into a place for longtime hobbyists, new collectors, and sports fans alike!
Noah visits with owners Dakota and John to hear how Vaulted Cards got its start, what goes into “The Vaulted Standard,” and the kind of experience they want people to have when they walk through the door.
And, of course, Noah had to ask: What’s the one card you still can’t believe you got to hold?
Then John and Dakota get put on the spot: If you could pick any pro athlete to make a Vaulted Cards commercial for free, who would it be and why?

🔥What’s hiding in your chimney?

Join Noah Shenandoah this week as he visits with Aleckz, owner of Stiffler Chimney Services, LLC, based out of Edinburg, VA!
Noah asks Aleckz how he got into the chimney business, one of the biggest misconceptions homeowners have about chimney cleaning, and the one thing he thinks every homeowner should know before lighting that first fire this fall. And, of course, Noah had to ask… after being inside so many chimneys in our community, what’s the craziest thing you’ve ever found?
You’ll have to watch for that answer!
