The monarch migration is coming through Texas! 🦋
October is an exciting time for monarch butterflies as they make their incredible journey south to their overwintering grounds in Mexico. Texas is an important stop along the way providing monarchs with the food and habitat to refuel during their migration.
Our monarch butterfly garden at the Carleen Bright Arboretum provides an important pit stop for these pollinators. The gardens offer the butterflies a place to rest, feed, and continue their journeys.
Come visit the Arboretum this fall and check out our Butterfly Gardens- you may even see a Monarch making its way south!
