The Greater Worcester Community Foundation is celebrating 50 years, and at their annual meeting yesterday, they announced $2 million to support area nonprofits and launch new programs.

Of this, we will recieve $250,000 for our Universal Home Visiting program!!!

Greater Worcester Community Foundation increases annual earmark for 50th anniversary Greater Worcester Community Foundation is celebrating its 50th anniversary by earmarking $2 million to support area nonprofits and launch new programs.

We are excited to announce that our conference room is now officially named "The John P. McCabe Conference Room."

For nearly 30 years, John has volunteered at Pernet, helping out with our holiday program, serving on the Board of Directors, serving as Chair of the Board, and serving on the Finance Committee.

John and his wife Debra have dedicated countless hours to Pernet through volunteering and soliciting donations.

John, thank you for your service and dedication to Pernet and the families we serve!

These past four months, we have had an absolutely AMAZING group of college interns from College of the Holy Cross, Clark University, Worcester State University , and Quinsigamond Community College.

Great partnering with Commonwealth Green Low-Income Housing Coalition. They played an integral role in consulting on our new solar energy project!
