Firefighters save labradoodle from icy waters at Mass. park Needham firefighters rescued a labradoodle that fell through thin ice at Cutler Park. The dog was safely reunited with its owner after a swift and skillful operation.

A reminder that the only safe ice is indoor ice at the rink. We have responded to one ice rescue call today at the reservoir and there are reports of others falling in other bodies of water elsewhere today. Please stay off outdoor bodies of water.

Ware,MA Fire Department took delivery of their second Rescue Alive Sled. The package included ropes, throw bags, helmets and ice rescue suits. Their first sled purchased in the early 90' s is still in service with the department.
Congratulations to the East Bridgewater Fire Department...They just added a second Rescue Alive Platform to their Ice Rescue Capability...
