Last week, El Buen Samaritano Food Program Inc. (EBS), in partnership with the City of Worcester and the American Red Cross, proudly joined together for a press conference announcing an important new collaboration to support individuals and families displaced from their homes following emergencies and disasters. ❤️🙏

We are also proud to officially announce that EBS will now serve as a Disaster Relief Service Center for individuals and families impacted by emergencies, fires, and unexpected disasters within the City of Worcester.

Through this partnership, EBS will help provide immediate support and essential resources including food, water, clothing, blankets, baby items, hygiene products, and a safe space for families during difficult moments.

At EBS, we believe no one should ever face tragedy alone. This collaboration is about compassion, dignity, hope, and making sure our community knows there is always support during times of crisis.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended the announcement and continues to support this important mission for our community. We are incredibly grateful to the American Red Cross and the City of Worcester for their partnership, trust, and commitment to helping Worcester families in times of need. ❤️

Our weekly food distribution takes place every Friday from 10AM–12PM and everyone is welcome. No ID required. 🙏✨

We provide:

We are also looking for volunteers weekly! We can host anywhere from 5–50 volunteers, including schools, businesses, churches, and community groups looking to give back. 🫶🏼

We're super happy to be able to add a new resource to the Lincoln Village neighborhood. After losing their Stop & Shop last year, the area has had fewer available food resources than necessary. WCFB is happy to partner with EBS as they open their second food pantry in Worcester.

El Buen Samaritano opens second food pantry in Worcester United Way provided $15,000 to help.
