We’re almost done! Gordon Library’s renovated entrance floor will be ready for B-Term, with new study spaces, tech suites, an art studio classroom, and a café.

The building will be closed October 10 through 17 while we move furniture and set up the new spaces. We expect to reopen October 18, but please check our hours before visiting.

Library staff will be available at [email protected] during the closure. For in-person IT help, visit Fuller Labs 117.

Thanks for your patience. We’re looking forward to seeing you in the new spaces!

With Interlibrary Loan (ILL), you can get books, articles, and other materials FREE of charge from libraries literally all around the world! Library Renovation Update!

Gordon Library’s main (entrance) floor will undergo major renovations this summer that will expand the footprint of the Class of 1970 Café, bring efficient and modern lighting throughout the floor, add student seating, and create a new studio arts classroom. Visit our website for more details about this exciting renovation.

In preparation for the renovation of the Library’s main floor this summer and fall, the Library will be closed to the public from June 1 through June 14. This closure will allow construction crews to build a temporary pedestrian tunnel to ensure safe access to the Library.

While we are closed, library staff will remain available to assist you. If you need items from the collection or have a question, please email us at [email protected] or call 508-831-5410. Staff will be on-site and ready to help.

Join us in celebrating the 30th National Poetry Month with our final event of the year: WPI Poets. We are excited to welcome our first alumni reader, Gerald Yelle! A published poet with several books and chapbooks to his name, Yelle will share selections from his work alongside readings by current WPI students.

Wednesday, April 29, 3:30–5:00 pm
Gordon Library, Conference Room 303

Stick around after the readings for a casual conversation with our poets about their creative practices and experiences.
