Greetings from Breed’s Hill: Fact & Folklore for America’s 250th with Ted Reinstein

Thursday, October 29, 6:30-8:00 p.m.

“Greetings from Breed’s Hill: Fact & Folklore for America’s 250th” is a fast-paced, fun, informative look at some of the unique stories Ted Reinstein has done related to the Revolutionary War period. Here’s the twist: although these stories all involve famous, even iconic moments in our founding history, they have another angle that's less well-known. Stories include Paul Revere’s ride (famous, but not free), the Battle of Breed's (not Bunker) Hill, the battle (that's never ended) between Concord and Lexington, and that peculiar bullet- (well, musket ball)-riddled gravestone in the North End.

Sponsored by the Fiske Library Foundation as part of their Revolution 250 Speaker Series. To register, please visit fiskelib.org .
