🚒 Annual Old Timers Night!

Yesterday, the Wynantskill Fire Department hosted our annual Old Timers Night, bringing together past and present members for an evening of good food, great conversation, and reminiscing about years of service.

The evening was a chance to reconnect, share stories, and look back at our department’s rich history through old photographs and memorabilia.

A special thank you to everyone who helped organize the event, prepared the food, and joined us for the evening.

Our department is built on the dedication of those who came before us, and we’re proud to carry on their legacy! 🚒

THANK YOU, Wynantskill community and beyond!
To everyone who has already donated to our 2026 Fund Drive, thank you. Your generosity, big or small, means the world to us, and it goes right back to supporting our firefighters.

We are SO close to our goal, and we have one month left to cross the finish line!

Second reminders are hitting mailboxes soon, if they haven't already. Haven't received one but would still like to donate? Send us a direct message and we'll let you know how.

Together we keep our community safe.

🍦🚒 What a great night in Wynantskill!

Our Second Annual Ice Cream with a Firefighter Night was a huge success!

We had a fantastic turnout yesterday evening as families and neighbors joined us at the firehouse for some Stewart’s ice cream, fire safety education, a chance to explore our apparatus, and an opportunity to get to know the firefighters who serve our community.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by and helped make the evening such a success! We also want to thank Stewart’s Shops for the ice cream and our dedicated volunteers who helped put everything together.

Events like this are a great reminder of what makes our community special. We always enjoy opening our doors, meeting our neighbors, and giving the next generation a closer look at the fire service.

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did, and we’re already looking forward to next year!

Thank you, Wynantskill, for your continued support! ❤️🚒

One of our favorite days of the year!

This morning, members of the Wynantskill Fire Department had the opportunity to visit our local schools for Fire Prevention Day. We always love spending time with the students and teaching them the importance of fire safety and what they can do to stay safe.

The kids had a chance to learn about fire safety, check out our apparatus, and see some of the tools and equipment our firefighters use when responding to emergencies.

A big thank you to our local schools for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to help educate the next generation about fire safety. We look forward to this day every year!

And the fun continues tomorrow!

Join us at the Wynantskill Fire Department for our 2nd Annual Ice Cream with a Firefighter event from 5:30–7:30 PM at the firehouse. Come out, enjoy some ice cream, meet your local firefighters, check out the trucks, and spend some time with your Wynantskill Fire Department!

We hope to see everyone there!
