On Friday, October 16th, 90 Wyoming High School band students welcomed 150 Wyoming Junior High School band students to the stands at the Wyoming High School football game for the annual Junior High Band Night! 🎺🥁

Together, students performed pep band favorites and filled the stands with music, energy, and Wolf Pride! 🐺

Our band program is built on family, excellence, and hope — and this special tradition brings all three to life! 💜

Welcome Brianna Wildey! 🐾

"Hello! My name is Brianna Wildey and I am a Kindergarten teacher at West Elementary. This will be my sixth year teaching and first year teaching Kindergarten. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, spending time with my pets, friends, and family, and relaxing on the couch watching a new TV show or movie. I also enjoy singing and dancing when I can. I am really excited to start this next step in my career!"

Congratulations to Wyoming High School student Charlie Baker, whose incredible artistic talent has earned some well-deserved recognition! 🎉

Charlie was named the winner of a local McDonald’s art contest and received a $1,000 scholarship for his winning artwork!

Charlie, thank you for sharing your creativity and talent with our community. 🎨

The winning piece is part of a Hispanic Heritage Month initiative celebrating culture and community, with Wyoming High School's art department also receiving a $500 grant.

“My intent was to just have fun and make memories because that’s what senior year is all about,” Teagyn Agar said. “I knew I wanted to run and I was like, ‘Well, I don’t have anyone to run with’ and Keegan popped in my head. I just knew Keegan would have so much fun if he was on court.”

Teammates on a basketball team that brings together students with and without intellectual disabilities represented Wyoming High School on Homecoming Court last Friday.

“(The award is) a reflection of the hard work our school has put in over the last few years to ensure students with disabilities are fully included alongside their peers,” said Anna Servo-Christiaans, WHS Special Education Teacher. “Beyond that, it shows in everything we do — our kids truly love, support, and include each other every single day.”

Two area high schools have achieved 10 standards to earn a national honor based on inclusivity.

Today, Wyoming High School students witnessed a powerful distracted driving demonstration with Wyoming Police and Fire. 🚔🚒

The demonstration provided a real-life look at the consequences of distracted driving and the importance of making safe choices behind the wheel. 📱
