⚠️ Please see important announcement below pertaining to water operations for the Town. ⚠️

Attention Town of Yadkinville Water Customers:

Please be advised that the Town of Yadkinville has scheduled a temporary water service outage for system maintenance on October 15, 2026, from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Crews and contractors will be working diligently to complete these necessary infrastructure upgrades. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.

Affected Areas
• All Town of Yadkinville customers South of 2820 Hwy 601 S (Yadkinville)
• Courtney Huntsville Road and surrounding areas

Important Precautionary Guidelines
To protect your plumbing and appliances during the service disruption, please adhere to the following precautions:

• Keep all faucets completely closed: Do not leave taps open or cracked. Keeping valves closed prevents air from entering your plumbing lines, which can cause severe pressure spikes or sputtering when service is restored.
• Avoid using hot water: Do not turn on hot water taps. This precaution prevents sediment and rust from being drawn from the main lines into your water heater tank, which can cause system clogs or permanent equipment damage.
• Manage appliance power switches: Consider turning off the breaker or power switch to your water heater to prevent potential element burnout if water levels drop. Additionally, ensure all connected water appliances—such as washing machines and dishwashers—remain turned off.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as our teams work to complete essential system repairs.

If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to Jacob Swaim Public Services Director.

Unplug your device when it is fully charged. Leaving it plugged in longer than needed can increase heat and stress on the battery. For more info: www.fpw.org.

Stop using your device right away if the battery smells strange, is warm to the touch, makes popping noises, changes in shape or color, or if you see smoke. If it is safe, move the device away
from anything that can catch fire. A damaged battery can overheat and start a fire. For more info: www.fpw.org.

Charge on a hard, flat surface like a table, desk, or floor. Beds, couches, and pillows can trap heat and block airflow, which can cause a battery to overheat. For more info: www.fpw.org.

Use the cord and charger that came with your device or ones approved by the manufacturer. Using the wrong charger can damage the battery and increase the risk of fire. For more info: www.fpw.org.
