I am a tireless advocate for Yardley. David Appelbaum (Council – 4 years) and his family have lived in the borough for 15 years.
He joined the council last year and heads the community outreach committee. He enjoys working on community projects that show off Yardley's charm, natural assets, and downtown. Currently, he is working closely with Shirley Corsey, the executive director of the Gather Place, the former AME Church being used as a living history museum telling the story of Yardley’s Africa American residents. We stopped to see Barry and Mary Jane who have been in business in the Boro for close to 40 years have decided to close the retail shop.
So many great sales going on I saw the Chief and Wes picking out a few items for their Mrs. And Patty and I sent a few ideas to Drew and Rob!!

Election Day is 6 days away 🗳
If you registered to vote by mail, you should already have your ballot. It can be dropped off inside the library on Edgewood Road. And, of course, it can also be mailed 📬
A few neighbors have told me they’ve already voted — thank you! 💙
For the rest of you (like me) who love the tradition of voting on Election Day, we’ll see you at the firehouse on November 7th!
