Ron and his wife, Chris, first learned about LifePath 15 years ago through their church, Shrewsbury Assembly. Now retired, one of the ways Ron helps out these days is especially sweet. Three days a week, Ron and his dog, JT, pick up unsold bakery items from the Saubel's Markets in Shrewsbury, then deliver them to LifePath.

When we asked Ron why they have continued to support LifePath Christian Ministries over the years? Ron says, "LifePath treats people with dignity and respect. They try to get to the root cause of homelessness and then provide the training and counseling they need. Matthew 25:40 says, "whatever you did for one of the least of these... you did for me."

It's just over two months until Christmas! We (or should we say, Santa and his elves) are already making our list to ensure that every kiddo at LifePath's Family Shelter feels the love of Christ and community during the Christmas season!

Once again, we will host a Christmas Shoppe were kids can pick a gift for their parents and siblings. New this year, guests across all the shelters will be able to pick gifts for their children. This is all made possible by your generous donations of toys, clothing, accessories like hats and scarves, gift cards and other thoughtful items!

If you would like to donate an item, we are especially in need of gifts for children age 0-3 years, and teens. Donate whatever you'd like - toys, clothing, electronics, arts and crafts supplies, learning/discovery kits. We just ask that the items are new/unused and unwrapped. (Our elves will help with wrapping every gift!)

On the Naughty List:
Please, no glitter, stickers, play doh or slim.

To make a donation ~ Please deliver no later than Friday, December 4.

Lace up your sneakers and join us for the Kindness 5K, a fun, low-key event designed for runners, walkers, families, and friends of all ages!

The Kindness 5K is Saturday, November 7, starting at 9 a.m. sharp at Dallastown Area Intermediate School located at 94 Beck Road, York, PA 17403. Set in the beautiful Dallastown community, this family-friendly race offers a relaxed atmosphere where all proceeds will benefit the mission, programs and services of LifePath Christian Ministries. No matter your pace, you'll be making a difference with every step!

Non-perishable food items and gently used winter clothing will be collected near the finish line to assist neighbors in need.

Circumstances such as a medical emergency or an unexpected health diagnosis and lack of access to healthcare, a major life change such as divorce or death of a spouse or caregiver, mental health, substance use... all can be contributing factors to homelessness. Real life situations that happen to everyday people.
