Attention, teens! Save the date for April 16! A morning of refreshments and a stimulating conversation with a renowned author await you at this year's Part of the Story event. Engage in enjoyable small-group activities and discussions followed by lunch provided by the library. In the afternoon, Lamar Advertising will host a session on raising community awareness about important topics discussed earlier. Teens will then work together to create innovative billboard designs, with one group's creation selected to be displayed across York County. Teens aged 12-18 from York County, PA are invited to submit artwork for a juried exhibit! Entry deadline is April 10, 2026; selected artists will be notified by April 17.

🎨 Analog and digital art, as well as 2-D and 3-D art is welcome! We will not accept reproductions, copyrighted, or trademarked images, nor pieces generated using AI (Artificial Intelligence).
🎨 Artwork will be reviewed and selected for the exhibit. We strongly encourage all selected artists, art teachers, friends, and family to attend the Opening Reception on May 1st from 5 to 7pm. Prizes will be awarded on May 1st during the Opening Reception.

If you’re Looking for a safe, fun, and belonging space for, school-age 12-18 years old, please come to Martin Library Teens, 159 East Market Street, 2nd floor. The hours for Teens are Mon, Tues, Thurs, 2:00-6:00 pm and Wed, 1:00-6:00 pm. There are fascinating books to read, and many other great activities to do like table, video, board games, a computer lab, and a Solver Space for hands on building, etc. We’ll see you soon!

Please come and discover the peace and creativity involved in learning how to harmonize colors using a color wheel. Art is a journey that takes time. It's not meant to be completed in one sitting.
