While the Tower Ladder was returning to quarters , Engine 19 (W/2) was alerted on the first alarm to assist Company 89 with a house fire . Engine 19 arrived as the 4th Due Engine and established Engine 89-2’s primary water supply.

Rescue Squad 19 & Truck 89-1 extricated one following a two vehicle accident on Interstate 83.

The Goodwill Fire Co. #1 of York Township regrets to announce the passing of member Charles “Chuck” Hoffman. Chuck became a member of the department in 2020, and served as a live-in fireman from 2020-2023 prior to moving to Delaware with his wife Aimee and now 20-month old son, CJ. Chuck continued to serve the York Township and surrounding communities as a member of the department during his visits to the area.
Chuck was loved by many and hated by none. He brought a smile and a laugh into any room he walked into, and his loss leaves a gaping hole in the hearts of many. Our sympathy will remain with his family and all of those affected by his passing.
RIP “Neighbor”, our pipe man forever.

Recently the department took delivery of several donations, Class One Property Restoration donated bottled water and 20 feet of 6x6 lumber.
The lumber was donated to Class One Property Restoration by Valley View Hardwoods LLC and is to replace stabilization cribbing.

Engine 19 (W/3) was requested to assist Company 77 with a barn fire. Engine 19 arrived as the 3rd Due Engine and established the fill-site in Felton Borough to supply the fire ground via relay pumping.
