🚗 TEEN DRIVER SAFETY WEEK
📅 October 18–24, 2026

Driving is a privilege, not a right!

Teen drivers may be behind the wheel, but parents still play a critical role in keeping them safe.

With limited driving experience, teens face increased risks on the road. Parents and guardians can help reduce those risks by setting clear expectations, reinforcing safe driving habits, and holding their teens accountable.

🚦 Talk with your teen about the rules of the road:

✅ Always wear a seat belt.

✅ Obey speed limits and avoid aggressive driving.

✅ Never text or use a phone while driving.

✅ Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

✅ Limit passengers and other distractions.

✅ Follow all restrictions of their driver’s license.

🔑 Parents, remember: YOU’RE IN CONTROL! If your teen isn’t following the rules of the road, don’t hesitate to take away the keys.

Keep the lines of communication open. Your teen may not always show it, but they’re listening, and your guidance can make a difference.

Let’s work together to keep our young drivers and everyone sharing our roads safe!

Kyndal is truly an inspiration to anyone who hopes to Mae a difference. Officer Marrie even gave him some blue lights to guide his way!

Thank you for spending time in our community Kyndal!
