Welcome 2025 in Continental Square sponsored by UPMC

The City of York and York City Special Events are gearing up for the city’s New Year’s Eve Celebration on Tuesday, December 31 at
Continental Square. All are invited to stay up late to Welcome 2025 in Continental Square sponsored by UPMC.

The celebration will begin with live music at 8:30 p.m. and run through the drop of the White Rose off the old Citizen’s Bank building at midnight, followed by fireworks off the East Market Street Parking Garage.

Live entertainment is being hosted by RalphReal Entertainment and sponsored by UPMC. Music for the evening includes: Shine Foundation students, BabyJames and The Groove,
World Wide Wednesday, Nakuu, RalphReal and the Family Jam to be wrapped up with a dance party and countdown to midnight.

Parking in the blocks around the square will be restricted started at 8 p.m. The roads will be shut down to traffic at 9 p.m. Parking is available for free in nearby parking garages on East Market, West King, and West Philadelphia streets. Metered parking outside of the
one-block radius of the square is also free that night.

New Year’s Eve Celebrations are supported by The Powder Mill Foundation and UPMC. York City Special Events are organized by Working Progress.
