Important Alert from York County Utilities: The South Carolina Department of Environmental Services informed York County Utilities of the need to issue a boil water advisory for unincorporated areas of York County near Tega Cay due to elevated levels of E.coli and total coliform in the water supply. This was discovered during routine testing of the supply.

Only utility customers within the below neighborhoods are impacted:

-Hawks Creek
-Stockbridge Drive
-Coralstone Drive
-Waterstone
-Palmetto West

All impacted customers are advised to vigorously boil their water for at least one full minute prior to drinking or cooking as a precaution.

Catawba Bend Preserve is officially open! The disc golf course and mountain bike trails open at 1 p.m.

Stop by for ranger-led programs, hiking, the cross country meet and lots of excitement!

We can’t thank our County Council, community partners, steering committee and staff for making the vision of this 1,900 acre natural park a reality.

Today's the day!

In just a few hours Catawba Bend Preserve's new Mountain Bike Trails and Disc Golf Course will officially open to the public. Both facilities will open for public use Saturday, October 17 at 1 p.m.
