Thank you, Delegate Mike Mullin, for making our children a priority!
“The genesis of this bill came from three of my four boys being in Newport News public schools and seeing how great it was that they went to 100% free lunch,” Mullin told The Virginian-Pilot on Tuesday.
Virginia schools would provide free meals for all students under bill sponsored by 3 Hampton Roads lawmakers “Former first lady Dorothy McAuliffe said, rather aptly, that a student can’t be hungry to learn if they still just hungry,” said Del. Mike Mullin.
