BIAMC Yorktown Chapter

Another Great day in the books for BIAMC-Yorktown. Started the day off showing some support to the Sons of Poseidon USN Motorcycle Group at their Annual Charity poker Run in support of the Battle Dawgs Foundation helping Veterans. It was fantastic getting to see so many friendly faces again that we haven't had an opportunity to see in awhile.

We then went out an spent a fun afternoon together, put down a couple miles, took a ferry trip, had a cold beer & excellent burger at Monk’s, and even to knock a out Church for the month. I think with all the changes and struggles everyone in out chapter has experienced in the last year, a day of fun riding and Brotherhood was definitely needed by all. Props to Patriot Mitzi for putting up with us and the heat today.

Yorktown had a fun evening at Alewerks Brewing Company last night. As always lots of laughs. If you see us out & about please come up and say hello, maybe even have a drink with us.

We know that many people say Happy Memorial Day without really thinking about it, but please remember it is a solemn occasion for those who lost their lives fighting for America. Fallen Soldiers that made the ultimate sacrifice giving their lives for the freedoms we enjoy today. On Memorial Day we honor memories of all those Fallen Soldiers. Unfortunately, we are losing our Patriotism and Pride in this country, so please take a moment this coming Memorial Day to teach your children and grandchildren the meaning of these Holidays.

And while you honor those fallen service members, please say a pray for all those Veterans and Supporters who make the trek every Memorial Day Weekend to our Nations Capital for Rolling To Remember, advocating for accountability for U.S. Prisoners Of War and service members Missing in Action.

Remind your neighbors.

Wow well this is a little embarrassing, was so busy yesterday I totally forgot it was Armed Forces Day.

Better late than never I suppose... Happy Armed Forces Day to all those Service Members currently on Active Duty.

BIAMC-Yorktown decided to checkout TJ's Sports Tavern "2" in Poquoson, wow what a cool spot they've turned that into. As always there was lots of laughs, good food, & cold beer. Along with a fun little ride over there & back, is always a welcomed temporary distraction from the BS of the work week.

H***h, Tug & Bubbles took a fun little ride up to Montross, Va to the Northern Neck Brewing Co for some refreshments and food. Was a fun ride, and the folks at NNK Brewing were fantastic. Then we stopped at Damons on the way back for one more before calling it day. A good time was had.

Made the trip across the bridge for some Fatboy's Grill & Steamshack. Good food, cold beer, waitress was fantastic, and great company. Spent some time checking out H***h's new toy.
