Throwback Thursday: Not much has changed when it comes to enjoying a summer day at Yorktown Beach.
This photo, taken in June 1941, shows the beach bustling with visitors along the waterfront. More than 80 years later, Yorktown Beach remains a favorite destination for residents and visitors alike, especially during the summer months.
Thanks to The Library of Congress for preserving historic photos just like this one.
