An active week is in store for Northern AZ! Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms today and tomorrow, then a strong weather system will bring high chances for showers and thunderstorms with risk of flooding on Wednesday and Thursday.

10/18/2026

Light showers continue this morning across much of Northern Arizona. Showers will continue through this evening with a slight chance of thunderstorms, then chances return Monday afternoon. Another weather system bringing widespread wetting rains is anticipated by the middle of the week.

Great opportunity today! One of our community members reached out to us with some potential medical training.

As a result, we had a class from Mayo Clinic this morning.

That same neighbor helped us avoid starvation by bringing some sweet treats.

Thank you, thank you!

If you or a loved one has a specific medical condition that you feel we should be aware of, please reach out.

We're always looking for medical training that addresses the needs of our community.

After a couple of dry and windy days, look for a chance of showers to return this evening and continue through Sunday. An isolated thunderstorm will also be possible by Sunday afternoon.

Every five years, public safety stakeholders in Gila County develop a plan to address wildfire concerns.

For example, the 2022 plan helped to address the public wildfire concerns at Haigler Creek.

We want to hear from you.

Please take a moment to complete this anonymous survey.
