🦺 Recognizing School Safety Week at East Arbor Charter Academy! 🦺

Last week, we recognized School Safety Week at East Arbor Charter Academy! Keeping our students, staff, and school community safe is always a top priority.

School Safety Week is a great reminder that creating a safe, supportive learning environment takes all of us working together. From practicing safety procedures to building awareness and making thoughtful choices, every step helps keep our school community strong.

A big thank-you to our staff, students, families, and community partners for helping make East Arbor a safe and welcoming place to learn and grow!

Is your child growing out of their school uniform or in need of warmer clothing for the upcoming winter months? East Arbor's chapter of the National Junior Honor Society invites families to participate in our School Uniform & Winter Clothing Swap!
This is a wonderful opportunity to exchange gently used school uniform and winter clothing items for different sizes, helping families share resources while giving clothing a second life. We will be accepting donations of clean, gently used school uniforms and winter clothing, and families will have the opportunity to browse a selection of available items to find what their children need (free of charge!).

Harvey the Hedgehog is showing students what respect looks like in action! 🦔

Through our Moral Focus™ program, students at our East Arbor Charter Academy learn how virtues like respect show up in everyday moments, like waiting patiently and letting others go first.

Ask your child: How can you show respect today? We’d love to hear their answers in the comments!

October’s Moral Focus: RESPECT!

This month, we’re putting RESPECT in the spotlight! Respect is the foundation of positive relationships, strong communities, and a welcoming school culture where everyone feels valued and included.

Throughout October, students will explore what it means to show respect through their words, actions, and choices. They’ll learn to recognize the value and dignity of others, practice kindness and empathy, and appreciate the many different perspectives and experiences that make our school community special.

Together, let’s make respect a daily choice—in the classroom, in the hallway, on the playground, and beyond!

🍎 Goodies with Grown-Ups at East Arbor!💙

What a wonderful morning at East Arbor! Our parents and grown-ups had the opportunity to sit with their families and enjoy a delicious breakfast together before the school day began.

After breakfast, our grown-ups walked their students to class, making the morning extra special with a little more family time and a lot of smiles! 📚❤️

Thank you to all of our families for joining us and helping make Goodies with Grown-Up's such a memorable morning! We loved seeing our East Arbor community come together! 🌟
