Big changes begin at home.

For young children, some of the most important learning happens in the place they feel safest: home.

Through the Parents as Teachers model, SOS Community Services offers home visiting that connects families with trained parent educators who support child development, strengthen parenting skills, and help families prepare their children for a successful start in school.

Home visits meet families where they are—literally and figuratively. Parent educators build trusting relationships, share age-appropriate activities, answer questions, and help caregivers recognize the incredible role they play in their child's growth.

These visits are about more than developmental milestones. They're about empowering parents, building confidence, and ensuring children have the support they need to thrive.

When we invest in parents, we invest in children's futures. 💙

Such a great resource!

The Senior Living Week Expo is TOMORROW! Put on by the Housing Bureau for Seniors, this event provides dozens of vendors who will be offering products and services to aid, assist and inform seniors and those who care about them. Free flu vaccines and health screenings by Community Health Services at Michigan Medicine. Hearing screenings and hearing aid cleanings. Click in the comments for more information and to register!
