-TOWN HALLS ANNOUNCED FOR SUMMER 2026-
Last year, the Sheriff's Office held 9 town halls across Siskiyou County, where we spoke directly with residents about their top public safety concerns as well as emergency preparedness ahead of fire season. These meetings were a great opportunity for residents to speak directly with the Sheriff and share their feedback, ask questions, and brainstorm solutions to the most pervasive issues in their communities.

This spring, the Sheriff's Office and Siskiyou County Office of Emergency Services are once again teaming up for another series of public safety town halls throughout Siskiyou County. We invite all of you to attend one of these meetings - we currently have 6 locations confirmed, but a few more will be added. Be sure to save the date, and we will see you soon!

As we observe National Correctional Officers and Employees Week, May 3–9, 2026, we proudly recognize the dedicated professionals who serve in our Siskiyou County Jail facility and throughout the Corrections Division. Their work demands resilience, sound judgment, and unwavering professionalism in an environment that is often challenging, complex, and unpredictable.

Every day, these men and women carry significant responsibilities while maintaining the safety, security, and orderly operation of the facility. Their commitment to integrity, accountability, and public service plays a vital role in protecting both our institution and the community we serve.
