With heartfelt appreciation, we wanted to share that Brady's K9 Fund has gifted our loyal four-legged deputy, K9 Brut, a life-saving ballistic vest!

Brady's K9 is passionate about supporting law enforcement K9s that work tirelessly to keep our communities safe. Their organization is dedicated to providing essential equipment and resources to these brave K9s , ensuring they are well-equipped and protected for the entire shift.

Brady's K9 Fund was founded by an 8 year old named Brady who believed that law enforcement K9's deserved body armor, just like their human partners. Since 2018 Brady's Fund has raised over $1.6 million and vested 1,652 K9's across all 50 states. Their mission is ongoing, so if you would like to learn more about this fund, visit: Bradysk9fund.com

Congratulations Deputy Young!
One of our fantastic Correctional Deputies, Jamie Young, just completed the 187 hour CORE program (Correctional Officer Regional Education) in Shasta County alongside Deputies from several other agencies.

In addition to First Aid and CPR as required by Emergency Management Services, the CORE program provides advanced training to Corrections Deputies regarding the safety and security of people in custody, as well as rehabilitation strategies to reduce recidivism and ensure the safety of the public. To that end, we want to thank the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office for hosting this fantastic training for our staff.

We also want to congratulate each graduate on their significant achievement and wish them continued success as they continue their careers in law enforcement!
