Preparedness in Action!
On Saturday, September 10, 2026, Sutter County Public Health staff hosted the annual community flu shot clinic at Live Oak High School, vaccinating 26 community members with the support of 20 staff members.

Beyond providing the flu shot, the clinic serves as an important emergency preparedness exercise. Staff practiced coordinating, mobilizing, setting up, operating, and taking down a mobile point of distribution to prepare for potential countywide emergencies. Our team met its exercise goals beautifully, strengthening our readiness to respond when our community needs us most! 👏

Medi-Cal renewal changes are coming in 2027! Starting January 1, 2027, some Medi-Cal members will need to renew their coverage every 6 months instead of once a year. Check out our flyer to learn more!
