Today, we pause to honor and remember U.S. Border Patrol Senior Patrol Agent John S. Blue of the Yuma Sector.

A member of the 64th Session who entered on duty on March 22, 1956, Senior Patrol Agent Blue tragically lost his life in the line of duty on October 4, 1973, alongside Airplane Pilot Friedrich Karl, during an aircraft patrol and signcutting assignment in Arizona.

We honor his memory, his commitment to our nation, and the ultimate sacrifice he made while safeguarding our borders. Rest in peace.
