Purple Eagles, Purple Hearts! 💜

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Cancer Walk a success! Together, we raised over $300 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and our amazing PTL matched the donation!

That means $600 will be donated to St. Jude’s to support children and families fighting childhood cancer. 🎗️

We are so proud of our DVA community for coming together to make a difference! 💜

Dear DVA Families,

Student safety is always our top priority at Desert View Academy. Please help keep our Eagles safe by being extra cautious and attentive when driving near our school, especially around the crosswalks.

Please remember the following safety guidelines:

⚠️Wait until students have completely crossed the crosswalk before proceeding.

⚠️Stop behind the white line when students are waiting to cross.

⚠️Come to a complete stop before the crosswalk line.

⚠️Slow down when approaching the school and surrounding crosswalks.

⚠️Look twice for pedestrians before moving forward.

⚠️Stay aware of your surroundings and watch for students, families, and staff.

A few extra seconds of caution can make a tremendous difference in keeping our students safe. We appreciate your partnership and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for all our Eagles.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter and for helping us keep our school community safe!

🕵️‍♂️🔎 Detectives at Work! Our 3rd graders in Class 3.6 put their math skills to the test during a Place Value Escape Room! 🧩📚 They followed clues, solved problems, and worked together to crack the case. Learning is always an adventure at DVA! 🦅💛🖤
