đź’š Ending the Silence: Mental Health Awareness at Mesquite Elementary!

Our Mesquite Elementary 6th graders had the opportunity to participate in an informative mental health presentation led by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).

The presentation provided students with valuable information and resources to better understand mental health and the importance of seeking support when needed.

A special thank you to NAMI for sharing your knowledge and resources with our students!

We also extend our appreciation to our Mesquite Elementary School Counselor for bringing this meaningful learning opportunity to our campus.

Together, we can help create a supportive school community where mental health matters!

🎒We are hosting our first Saturday School for Crane Migrant Students in grades 1st - 8th on Saturday, November 7th from 9 am - 12 pm at Salida del Sol Elementary. You must register your child for participation.
* Free breakfast, lunch, and transportation are available for participating students. Deadline to register: October 30th.

UPDATE: Earlier Incident Near Pueblo Elementary School

We would like to provide an update regarding the incident that occurred earlier today near Pueblo Elementary School.

20th Street has reopened to traffic, and all school entrances are now accessible.
Authorities have confirmed that the incident was related to a medical emergency and was not criminal in nature. Law enforcement and emergency services have since cleared the scene.

A traffic accident occurred this morning in front of Pueblo Elementary School. One of the vehicles involved struck the school's marquee.

We want to reassure our families that no students, parents, or staff were involved in the incident.
