The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

Help us to keep our community safe. Drop off your unneeded or expired prescription and over-the-counter medications.

THIS UPCOMING Saturday, October 24, 2026 in partnership with Lane Regional Hospital and Lane RX we will host our 2nd Annual Prescription Drug Take Back event.

Wednesday, October 28, 2026 6:00PM - 8:00PM our Inaugural “Boo Bash with the Blue”
This event is a drive-thru Trunk or Treat.

We are now accepting applications for our 2nd Tree Decorating contest.

And stay tuned for information on Santa’s Helpers.

📢 PUBLIC NOTICE – CITY OF ZACHARY

The City of Zachary would like to inform residents that, beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21, a drone company hired by the City will begin aerial data collection as part of a citywide infrastructure mapping project.

The project will help identify and document water meters, utility locations, manhole covers, fire hydrants, and other City infrastructure throughout Zachary.

Residents may notice drones operating in various areas of the City during this process. This work is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure records and maintain accurate data for future planning and operations.
