Veterans for Indiana is proud to endorse Pepper Snyder for Indiana State Representative Indiana House District 50.

Pepper’s connection to the military community comes through her family. She is the wife of an Army and National Guard veteran, and their family understands the commitment that military service asks not only of the person in uniform, but of the people waiting for them at home.

Pepper is also a mother of seven, grandmother of eight, and spent more than a decade working for Indiana’s Family and Social Services Administration. During her career with the state, she worked as an eligibility specialist, fraud investigator, and state eligibility manager experience that put her directly in contact with Hoosier families navigating government programs and services.

Now, Pepper is seeking to represent Indiana House District 50. Her campaign has emphasized issues affecting working families, including public education, healthcare access, childcare, and affordability.

Veterans for Indiana recognizes Pepper’s connection to the military community, her years of service to Hoosiers through state government, and her decision to continue that public service by running for office.

We are proud to endorse Pepper Snyder for Indiana House District 50. 🇺🇸

Veterans for Indiana is proud to endorse Tiffany Stoner for Indiana House District 25.

Tiffany’s connection to the military community is deeply personal. She is the spouse of a Colonel and combat veteran in the Army National Guard, and their family has spent more than two decades experiencing firsthand the responsibilities, uncertainty, and sacrifices that can come with military life.

As a military spouse, mother of four, small-business owner, and longtime Indiana resident, Tiffany brings those experiences with her as she seeks to serve in the Statehouse. Her campaign focuses on issues that directly affect Indiana families, including public education, affordability, healthcare, and strong communities.

Tiffany understands military service not only through her husband’s career, but through the experiences their entire family has shared along the way. That perspective has given her a personal understanding of the challenges military and veteran families can face and the importance of ensuring their voices are represented when decisions are made.

Veterans for Indiana recognizes Tiffany Stoner’s longstanding connection to Indiana’s military community and her commitment to continued public service.

We are proud to endorse Tiffany Stoner for Indiana House District 25. 🇺🇸

Veterans for Indiana is proud to endorse Racheal for Indiana House District 24.

Racheal’s connection to military service began long before she decided to run for office. She is the daughter of two Air Force veterans and spent much of her childhood living on or near military bases. She has spoken about how growing up in that environment shaped her understanding of service, community, sacrifice, and the very real impact decisions made by elected leaders can have on military families. She also identifies her parents’ Air Force service as an important part of what shaped her approach to public service.

Although Racheal is not a veteran herself, she has made a point of listening to veterans and military families about the issues affecting them. She has identified housing affordability, accessible childcare for military families, mental-health resources, and support during the transition from active duty to civilian life as areas she believes deserve attention at the Statehouse.

Racheal is a mother, business leader, and Westfield resident running to represent House District 24, which includes portions of Hamilton and Boone counties. Her broader campaign priorities include education, affordability, community investment, responsible development, and fiscal transparency.

Veterans for Indiana’s mission includes recognizing veterans and veteran family members who choose to serve Indiana. We recognize Racheal’s lifelong connection to the military community and her commitment to keeping veterans and military families part of the conversation in state government.

Veterans for Indiana is proud to endorse Racheal Bleicher for Indiana House District 24.

Veterans for Indiana is proud to endorse Ryan Kominakis for Indiana House District 4.

Ryan is a Marine Corps veteran who answered the call to serve right out of high school. During his time in the Marines, he completed four deployments, including a deployment to Afghanistan. His military service gave him firsthand experience with responsibility, sacrifice, teamwork, and what it means to be accountable to the people beside you.

When Ryan returned home to Northwest Indiana, his service to others continued. He built a career at U.S. Steel Gary Works and became a union representative, while remaining connected to the Veteran community through VFW Post 988. There, he helps with Memorial Day, Veterans Day, POW/MIA Day, and other observances honoring those who served.

Now, Ryan is seeking to bring those experiences to the Indiana Statehouse. His campaign says his priorities include supporting Veterans, respecting working Hoosiers, addressing affordability, and bringing the perspective of someone who has served both his country and his community to state government.

For Veterans for Indiana, Ryan represents something central to our mission: a Veteran who served his country and has chosen to continue participating in public service here at home.

Veterans for Indiana is proud to endorse Ryan Kominakis for Indiana House District 4 and recognizes his service to our country and continued involvement in Indiana’s Veteran community.

ENDORSED CANDIDATE SPOTLIGHT: Beau Bayh

To kick off our 2026 Endorsed Candidate Spotlight series, we’re highlighting Beau Bayh, candidate for Indiana Secretary of State.

Beau is a seventh-generation Hoosier and U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He earned his bachelor’s degree in government from Harvard University before serving as a Marine Corps Infantry Officer, rising to the rank of Captain and graduating from the Scout Sniper Unit Leader’s Course. His service took him around the world, including a deployment to Europe in support of America’s response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

After leaving active duty, Beau returned to Harvard, where he earned his law degree. His legal experience includes work with Cummins and Barnes & Thornburg in Indianapolis, followed by service as a judicial law clerk for Judge David F. Hamilton on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Beau credits his time in the Marine Corps with teaching him the importance of bringing people from different backgrounds together around a common mission. An approach he says he would bring to the Secretary of State’s office.

Veterans for Indiana is proud to support veterans and military family members who continue their commitment to public service here at home.

Today we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.

As veterans, we recognize the sacrifices made by those who fought to expand and defend the promise of liberty for all Americans.

Happy 251st Birthday to the United States Army!

For 251 years, the Army has stood as a symbol of strength, courage, and selfless service. Today, we celebrate the men and women who have worn the Army uniform past and present, and recognize the sacrifices made by Soldiers and their families throughout our nation's history.

We are especially proud of the Hoosiers who have served in every generation, from the Revolutionary War to today's active-duty forces, National Guard, and Reserve units. Indiana's Soldiers have answered the call in times of war and peace, carrying forward a legacy of duty, leadership, and service to both state and nation.

Today we recognize and celebrate the service, sacrifice, and leadership of the millions of women who have worn our nation's uniform. Women Veterans Day commemorates the anniversary of the Women's Armed Services Integration Act of 1948, the landmark legislation that granted women the right to serve as permanent members of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Women have served our country in every conflict and continue to break barriers in military service, public service, business, education, and their communities. Their contributions have strengthened our military and our nation.

At Veterans for Indiana, we are especially proud to recognize the women veterans across Indiana who continue serving their communities long after taking off the uniform. As veterans, elected officials, advocates, business owners, educators, healthcare professionals, and community leaders, they embody the spirit of service that never ends.

To all women veterans: thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your continued leadership. We honor you today and every day.

Congratulations to Beau Bayh on earning the Democratic nomination for Indiana Secretary of State, and congratulations to Blythe Potter on running a strong and passionate campaign.

Campaigns require tremendous sacrifice, dedication, and courage, and we thank both candidates for stepping forward to serve Indiana.

As veterans, we are especially excited to see a fellow veteran at the top of the statewide ticket. Military service instills leadership, accountability, integrity, and a commitment to something greater than ourselves. Qualities that matter in public service.

Now it's time to unite, focus on November, and work together to elect candidates who will move Indiana forward.

If you are a veteran, military spouse, or family member, we would love to connect and explore ways we can work together to support veteran candidates across Indiana.

Our endorsement application is now open at VeteransForIndiana.com.

Let's continue building a stronger voice for veterans in Indiana politics and help deliver victories in November.

We work to raise awareness of candidates and elected officials who are advocating for and sponsoring legislation that helps veterans and their families. Additionally, we promote and encourage Hoosier Veterans to engage in the political process. We connect veteran candidates with a network of support...
