On Wednesday October 1st, 2025, the Passports and Immigration Department will be granting an Indefinite Stay to Nationals of Barbados, Belize and Dominica who arrive at our Ports of Entry. These three (3) countries along with St Vincent and the Grenadines are the first within CARICOM to be members of the Full Free Movement (FFM). Thus, Vincentians travelling to those three (3) countries will also be granted an Indefinite Stay on entry.
Citizens of these countries would be able to live and work in SVG without having to apply for Residence or Work Permit and also have access to education, healthcare and other services. Dominicans currently benefit from such under the OECS Free Movement.
It is anticipated that other countries within CARICOM will join the Full Free Movement (FFM) and this department will also be ready to reciprocate an Indefinite Stay on entry.
