Asphalt road repairs being carried out in Kingstown along Tyrell Street.
Ever wondered how BRAGSA decides which roads need maintenance?
In this video, Andra Rodgers, Assistant Quantity Surveyor and member of the RAMS Team, explains how the Road Asset Management System (RAMS) uses data, inspections, traffic counts, and advanced technology to assess road conditions and prioritize maintenance across St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
By moving from reactive to predictive maintenance, RAMS helps BRAGSA identify issues before they become major problems and supports the management of roads, bridges, drains, culverts, and landslide-prone areas.

Behind every strong family and thriving community, there are fathers whose love, guidance, and quiet sacrifices help build the foundation for a better tomorrow.
At BRAGSA, we celebrate the dedicated fathers who show up each day with strength, commitment, and careโbalancing the demands of family, work, and community with pride.
In recognition of Fatherโs Day, we took a moment to express our appreciation to the fathers on our staff by presenting them with small tokens of appreciation for all that they do.
To all fathersโthank you for leading with love, standing with purpose, and helping to build stronger families and communities.
Happy Fatherโs Day from all of us at BRAGSA! ๐๐งก

Today, BRAGSA hosted an important stakeholder session on the use of PolyPavement technology as a potential alternative for improving access along unpaved and feeder roads across St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
PolyPavement is a soil-binding technology that can transform existing soil into a durable, dust-free road surface, reducing the need for traditional paving materials in certain applications.
The session was attended by Hon. Nigel Stephenson, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Physical Planning; Hon. Kaschaka Cupid, Minister of Youth, Sports, Culture and Creative Industries; Chief Engineer (Ag.) Mr Amos Cruickshank; BRAGSAโs Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kem Bartholomew; and other key technical and stakeholder representatives.
The presentation was delivered by Mr. Curtis Reid, PolyPavement Technician, who outlined how the technology may support more cost-effective, resilient, and sustainable road maintenance solutions, particularly for agricultural communities, tourism sites, and other hard-to-reach areas.
The initiative will be tested and monitored to assess its durability, suitability, and potential impact on road users, farmers, communities, and public infrastructure.
