Joseph Sibilly Elementary School proudly hosted its 2026 5th Grade Promotional Ceremony as we celebrated the accomplishments of our Grade 5 students.

Grade 5 Spirit Week was filled with fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Students enjoyed Nerd Day, Disney Day, Pajama Day, Western Day, Dress Your Era Day, and ended the week with a special banquet celebrating their accomplishments and friendships.🎊🎉

JSES continued its Cultural Celebrations with vibrant performances by moko jumbies, majorettes, and special guest artists Leo “Th3rd” Sibilly III, Selecta Jeacuar, Empire The Artist, and Jaquan “Quan” Carty.

A special thank you to April Henry, Terriya Thomas, St. Thomas Majorettes, Inc., Randall “Senio” Donovan, Chanester Crawford and Eccentric Moko Jumbies for helping make this celebration such a memorable experience for our students!

As our Cultural Celebrations continued, our students enjoyed learning the traditional dance of Quadrille.

A special thank you to Ingrid M. Ayala and Teryssa Thomas for sharing this meaningful cultural experience with our JSES family.

As part of our Cultural Celebrations, our students enjoyed a wonderful moko jumbie demonstration performed by some of our very own students who are members of Eccentric Moko Jumbies.

We are proud to celebrate this vibrant cultural tradition and to showcase the talents of our students as they share the rich heritage of the Virgin Islands. 🇻🇮

J.S.E.S. wrapped up Week of the Young Child with smiles, laughter, and lots of excitement! Our students enjoyed a day full of fun activities, celebrating joy, friendship, and the magic of childhood. 🩵🎈
