For 27 years, Strictly Local Productions has promoted local music and talent through its annual Bouy Ah Bouy, Big Man Ah Big Man Calypso Show. Thank you for your continued support.

Since 2000, this show has become a Carnival favorite, challenging calypsonians to create and perform original songs based on a single topic in a short timeframe.

This year’s competition will be held April 17th at the MCM Center at Antilles School, featuring past winners and runners-up.

Through this partnership, Southland Gaming helps expand access to these cultural experiences, strengthen community engagement, and support the continued growth and visibility of Caribbean carnival arts.

The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Mu Gamma Omega Chapter presents its 31st Cotillion/Debutante Ball, “Rooted in Tradition, Emerging in Elegance, A Young Lady Blossoms,” on May 23, 2026.

This program introduces young women of high academic and ethical standards to the St. Croix community, while fostering personal growth, leadership, and community engagement. Participants complete social grace and dance training, along with 25 hours of community service.

Proceeds support scholarships, awarding $2,000 each to two graduating seniors. Since 1978, the Mu Gamma Omega Chapter has remained committed to youth development and educational advancement in St. Croix.
