Registration will be conducted according to students’ last names on designated days.

All original required documents must be submitted at the time of registration.

Extended Learning Programs

NEW DEADLINE DATE
Summer 2026 Basketball Training Camp & Social-Emotional Development Program!

The Virgin Islands Department of Education, St. Croix District Superintendent’s Office, and the Office of the Governor are excited to announce the Summer 2026 Basketball Training Camp & Social-Emotional Development Program for VIDE students ages 11–17.

This free 6-week program, running from June 8 through July 21, 2026, is designed to help students strengthen their basketball skills while also developing confidence, leadership, emotional resilience, teamwork, and positive decision-making skills on and off the court.

Program Details:
• Dates: June 8 – July 21, 2026
• Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Location: Central High School Gymnasium
• Eligibility: VIDE male and female students ages 11–17
• Cost: Free of charge
• Meals: Lunch and snacks provided by the VIDE School Food Authority
• Capacity: Limited to 80 students

Please note that participants must commit to the full 6-week program. Transportation will not be provided.

The deadline to apply is May 29, 2026.

Register Now! The Virgin Islands Department of Education (VIDE) is pleased to inform parents, guardians, students, and the community of a variety of summer programs and learning opportunities that will be available across the Territory this summer.

These programs are designed to support student achievement, strengthen academic skills, provide enrichment opportunities, and prepare students for success in the upcoming school year. Summer offerings may vary by school and district and include programs such as:

• Credit Recovery Programs
• Summer Bridge Programs
• Summer Enrichment Opportunities
• Career and Technical Education Experiences
• STEM and Technology-Based Learning Activities

VIDE strongly encourages parents and guardians to take advantage of these valuable learning opportunities.

Flyers and detailed information regarding registration, eligibility requirements, program dates, and locations will be shared across official VIDE communication platforms.

ST. CROIX DISTRICT (Public School Students)

As part of our commitment to supporting summer enrichment and online learning opportunities, six engaging Digital Citizenship lessons have been assigned through Learning.com for students in grades K–8.

These interactive lessons are designed to help students strengthen their understanding of important digital literacy and online safety topics.

The lessons provide students with valuable tools and knowledge to help them navigate the digital world safely, responsibly, and confidently while continuing to build essential technology skills during the summer months.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to support and encourage student participation in these learning opportunities as we continue preparing students to become responsible digital citizens.

4v4 Girls Soccer Festival!

Hello fellow Clubs, Associations, Players, and Families,

Thank you for your patience as we finalized the details for our SKO 4v4 Girls Soccer Festival. We are excited to officially announce that registration is now open for our festival taking place on June 27, 2026!

Players will register individually and be placed onto balanced teams for a fun and competitive festival experience.

We are looking forward to another fun and exciting SKO event as we come together to celebrate girls and women’s soccer in a positive, energetic, and competitive environment.

After thoughtful consideration and with valuable feedback received in light of the FIFA 2026 World Cup, we have decided that for our 5th Annual Summer Kick Off (SKO) Girls Soccer Celebration, we will be taking a slightly different but exciting direction this year. Rather than our traditional tournament format, we will be introducing a one-day SKO Girls Soccer Festival. The SKO Festival will be designed to bring together players from all backgrounds in a fun, inclusive, and community-centered environment. Our goal is to create a day that not only highlights competition, but also celebrates connection, enjoyment, and the continued growth of the girls’ game.

Festival Details:
Date: June 27th, 2026.
Format: Small-sided 4v4 matches played throughout the day.
Team Selection: Players will arrive at a designated time and be randomly drafted into teams for the day, encouraging new friendships and a unique playing experience.
Ages: Open to players ages U6 through U16+
Participation: All club players and unaffiliated players are welcomed.

The festival will conclude with a championship match for each age category, followed by a vibrant awards ceremony celebration at the facility, which will include:
Music and entertainment
Food and refreshments
Trophy presentations
A lively, celebratory atmosphere for players and families
Registration Fee: $20 per player

Each registered player will receive:
○ An official SKO Festival shirt.
○ Access to the awards ceremony banquet (including food and music).
○ Tournament treats and/or goodie bags.

In addition to matches, there will be engaging activities, concessions, and interactive experiences available throughout the day, making this a full day of celebration for girls’ and women’s soccer.
