The Division of Social and Community Programs at Frederiksted Health Care team attended the “Facilitate with Impact” and “Talk that Transforms” training that was held in collaboration with CAI (Cicatelli Associates Inc.) in St. Thomas, USVI.
This impactful training focused on strengthening the HIV Prevention Workforce through engaging workshops, motivational interviewing tools, and strategies to better support clients with HIV prevention, treatment, and care.

Once again, the Sunset Movie Night was a success! Every individual in attendance truly enjoyed themselves, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter, relaxation, and a sense of community.
Seeing everyone come together, share smiles, and simply enjoy the moment reminds us why these events are so important.

The Division of Social and Community Programs at Frederiksted Health Care along with the Behavioral Health program of Frederiksted Health Care, Inc. would like to thank Ms. Caribel A Leyva Romero from the Veterans Affair Caribbean Healthcare System for coming by and presenting us with such an informative training. The training was titled: "Understanding Military Culture for Prevention: Working Together to Prevent Su***de." It focused on how we can utilize community-based and collaborative strategies to assess and promote well-being based on the social determinant of health.

Focused on growth and excellence!! Here at The Division of Social and Community Programs at Frederiksted Health Care we make sure to stay up to date and sharpen our skills by continuously participating in trainings. Our very own Nurse Crossman presented us with an internal biometrics training, to help us stay informed and prepared, during our 3rd Friday meeting.

It was so good to meet up with fellow Virgin Islander thought leader and subject matter expert among other accolades in the HIV/AIDS world Dr. Giselle Pemberton. She is such an inspiration.
