Please support the Women's Coalition as they host a virtual forum tomorrow entitled, "Why is our community silent about sexual assault and child abuse?" and Family Resource Center, Inc. in their efforts to raise much needed funds to support programs for survivors.

We witnessed the true power of friendship in action - women showing up, speaking truth, holding space, and reminding us that healing does not have to happen alone.

In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, this conversation offered:

We are breaking stigma.
We are redefining what a “survivor” looks like.
And we are building a bridge to the other side of trauma: healing.

Much thanks to all of these beautiful ladies who came out in shades of teal and blue to ‘Sway in Solidarity with Sexual Assault Survivors’. Our dance class on the beach raised awareness, connected girlfriends (old and new) and immersion into the the natural healing beauty of our very own St. Croix beach during traditional Easter camping. Movement…Salt Water…Connection…Intention = Healing in Progress!

It’s a great way to transition from Start by Believing Day into Culturally Specific Awareness Month this week. Video recap coming soon!

Today is Start By Believing Day💜

A national movement that invites us to make a simple yet life-changing commitment:

✨ When a survivor shares their story… we start by believing.

At H.O.P.E., we proudly stand in this commitment. We have taken the pledge and we continue to live it every day.

This photo/video is from our 2025 Radical Rest & Self-Care Retreat, where survivors gathered for a weekend of deep healing, connection, and restoration. We opened with a beautiful glass-making experience with DaLaurJo and we closed by taking our Start By Believing pledges together.

Though this moment was a year ago, the impact is still with us.
Because we know firsthand…

💫 How that belief can begin or restore the healing process

This is why H.O.P.E. is not just an organization that serves survivors…
