TẬP HUẤN QUẢN LÝ DỊCH HẠI TRÊN CÂY LẠC

Ngày 22/9/2026, KOPIA Việt Nam và Viện Khoa học Kỹ thuật Nông nghiệp Bắc Trung Bộ đã phối hợp với các địa phương tổ chức 02 lớp tập huấn kỹ thuật quản lý dịch hại trên cây lạc.

Buổi sáng, lớp tập huấn được tổ chức tại Diễn Châu, Nghệ An, với sự tham gia của gần 100 hộ nông dân.

Buổi chiều, lớp tập huấn tiếp tục được tổ chức tại Nghi Xuân, Hà Tĩnh, với gần 80 hộ sản xuất lạc giống tham gia.

Tại các lớp tập huấn, bà con được hướng dẫn nhận diện và phòng trừ một số sâu bệnh hại phổ biến trên cây lạc; áp dụng quản lý dịch hại tổng hợp (IPM), sử dụng thuốc bảo vệ thực vật an toàn theo nguyên tắc “4 đúng” và ưu tiên các biện pháp sinh học thân thiện với môi trường.

Các cán bộ kỹ thuật cũng trực tiếp trao đổi, giải đáp những khó khăn thực tế mà bà con gặp phải trong quá trình sản xuất.

Hy vọng những kiến thức được chia sẻ sẽ giúp bà con chủ động quản lý sâu bệnh, nâng cao năng suất và chất lượng lạc.

TRAINING ON PEST AND DISEASE MANAGEMENT IN PEANUT PRODUCTION

On September 22, 2026, KOPIA Vietnam and the Agricultural Science Institute for Northern Central Vietnam (ASINCV), in collaboration with local authorities, organized two training classes on pest and disease management in peanut production.

In the morning, the training was held in Dien Chau, Nghe An Province, with nearly 100 farming households participating.

In the afternoon, the second training class was held in Nghi Xuan, Ha Tinh Province, with nearly 80 peanut seed-producing households participating.

During the training class, farmers learned how to identify and control common peanut pests and diseases, apply Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices, use pesticides safely and properly, and prioritize biological control methods to protect the environment.

Technical staff also provided practical advice and addressed challenges that farmers are facing in peanut production.

We hope the knowledge shared through these training classes will help farmers better manage pests and diseases and improve peanut yield and quality!

Ngày 30/7/2026, KOPIA Việt Nam phối hợp cùng Ban Quản lý Dự án KOPIA, Viện Khoa học Nông nghiệp Việt Nam đã có chuyến thăm, kiểm tra và đánh giá mô hình sản xuất lạc giống cấp xác nhận tại Cam Lộ., Quảng Trị
Trong vụ Hè Thu này, dự án triển khai quy mô 20 ha sử dụng giống lạc L14. Nguồn giống L14 chất lượng cao này là giống nguyên chủng do Viện Khoa học kỹ thuật Nông nghiệp Bắc Trung Bộ (ASINCV) nhân giống và sản xuất, nhằm đảm bảo cung cấp cho bà con nguồn giống chuẩn, chất lượng tốt nhất, góp phần nâng cao năng suất và hiệu quả kinh tế cho người dân trong vùng.

FIELD EVALUATION OF CERTIFIED PEANUT SEED PRODUCTION IN CAM LO
On July 30, 2026, KOPIA Vietnam, together with the KOPIA Project Management Team, Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences (VAAS), visited and evaluated the certified peanut seed production model in Cam Lo.
During the summer-autumn crop season, the project implemented 20 hectares using the high-quality L14 peanut variety. This L14 seed is basic seed produced by the Agricultural Science Institute of Northern Central Vietnam (ASINCV)to ensure farmers receive reliable, high-quality seed, helping to enhance productivity and income for local farmers.

Within the framework of the Sericulture project, from June 3 to 13, 2026, KOPIA Vietnam organized a training course in Korea for two officers from the Viet Nam Sericulture Research Centre (VietSERI).

The training program focused on Artificial Diet (AD) Production and Silkworm Rearing Technologies Using Artificial Diet. Through the training course, the officers had the opportunity to access knowledge, techniques and practical experience from Korea, contributing to improving their professional capacity and promoting the application of new technologies in the development of the sericulture industry in Vietnam.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Department of Agricultural Biology, National Institute of Agricultural Sciences (NIAS), Rural Development Adminstration (RDA) of Korea for providing VietSERI staffs with the valuable opportunity to study and learn here.

Field workshop to evaluate the first six-month results of the KOPIA Sericulture project in Lao Cai province

KOPIA Viet Nam, in collaboration with Viet Nam Sericulture Research Centre (VietSERI), organized a field workshop to evaluate the implementation results of the sericulture project during the first six months of 2026 in Quy Mong commune and Au Lau ward, Lao Cai.

Within the framework of the workshop, the delegates visited and evaluated the results of expanding the cultivation area of the new mulberry variety GQ2 and dissemination of the new silkworm variety VH2020 in Quy Mong commune. They also inspected the completed upgrading of the concentrated young age silkworm rearing house in Au Lau ward.

These activities contribute to supporting local farmers in accessing new mulberry and silkworm varieties and improving young age silkworm rearing conditions, thereby enhancing production efficiency and promoting the sustainable development of the sericulture industry.

The results achieved during the first six months provide an important foundation for the project to continue improving and scaling up technical models suitable for practical production conditions, contributing to the promotion of agricultural cooperation between Viet Nam and Korea.

Technology Transfer for the Processing of Mulberry Fruit Products

In March and June 2026, two Korean experts visited Viet Nam to provide technical support to the Viet Nam Sericulture Research Centre (VietSERI) in conducting research and transferring processing technologies for mulberry fruit-based products.

During the working sessions, the experts provided direct technical guidance and exchanged expertise on the processing procedures for several mulberry fruit products, including mulberry w**e, mulberry jam, and mulberry vinegar. These activities were carried out with the aim of diversifying products and enhancing the added value of Vietnam’s sericulture industry.

KOPIA Viet Nam expects that the outcomes of these research and technology transfer activities will continue to be further refined and effectively applied in practical production, thereby contributing to the support of farmers and research institutions in the development of high-value agricultural products.

Sáng ngày 15/5/2025, Viện Khoa học Kỹ thuật Nông nghiệp Bắc Trung Bộ đã tổ chức tập huấn quy trình kỹ thuật sản xuất lạc giống cấp xác nhận cho các hộ dân xóm Trung Trường, xã Diễn Châu. Đây là nội dung nằm trong chương trình kế hoạch thực hiện dự án “Phổ cập giống lạc chất lượng cao cho vùng khô hạn và nâng cao giá trị gia tăng cây lạc ở Việt Nam” do KOPIA Việt Nam tài trợ.

Hội thảo đầu bờ đánh giá mô hình sản xuất lạc giống nguyên chủng tại xã Phong Nha, tỉnh Quảng Trị

Ngày 20/4/2026, KOPIA Việt Nam phối hợp cùng Viện Khoa học Kỹ thuật Nông nghiệp Bắc Trung Bộ (ASINCV) tổ chức hội thảo đầu bờ tham quan, đánh giá mô hình sản xuất lạc nguyên chủng tại xã Phong Nha, tỉnh Quảng Trị.

Tham dự hội thảo có đại diện Viện Khoa học Nông nghiệp Việt Nam (VAAS), Ban Quản lý Dự án Cải thiện Thu nhập và Nguồn nhân lực tỉnh Quảng Trị (PMU), KOICA, ASINCV, KOPIA; đại diện lãnh đạo UBND xã Phong Nha; các doanh nghiệp trong chuỗi ACIF; các hợp tác xã, cán bộ khuyến nông và các hộ dân tham gia mô hình.
Mô hình sản xuất lạc giống nguyên chủng L14, L20 được triển khai tại xã Phong Nha với quy mô 6 ha. Quy trình trồng và chăm sóc được áp dụng theo hướng dẫn kỹ thuật sản xuất lạc giống của ASINCV. Kết quả cho thấy cây lạc sinh trưởng, phát triển tốt, mật độ đồng đều, ít sâu bệnh; số quả chắc đạt 14–16 quả/cây, năng suất dự kiến khoảng 2,5 tấn/ha. Sau thu hoạch, lượng giống này sẽ được cung cấp cho bà con tại xã Phong Nha và huyện Cam Lộ để tiếp tục sản xuất lạc giống xác nhận trong vụ hè thu năm 2026.

Cùng ngày, đoàn công tác đã tới thăm và đánh giá mô hình trồng lạc của nông dân thuộc chương trình KOICA, do KOPIA tài trợ giống theo đề nghị của KOICA. Đây là năm thứ hai KOPIA hỗ trợ giống L20; năm 2025 triển khai trên diện tích 0,1 ha và năm 2026 được mở rộng lên 0,4 ha. Qua đánh giá thực tế, cây lạc trong mô hình sinh trưởng, phát triển tốt, đồng đều, ít sâu bệnh, năng suất dự kiến đạt khoảng 2,3 tấn/ha; cao hơn 30% so với việc sử dụng giống tự để từ vụ trước. Kết quả này khẳng định hiệu quả rõ rệt của việc ứng dụng giống chất lượng cao kết hợp với quy trình kỹ thuật phù hợp.

Thông qua hoạt động này, diện tích sản xuất lạc sử dụng giống chất lượng cao tiếp tục được mở rộng, góp phần nâng cao hiệu quả sản xuất, tăng năng suất và cải thiện thu nhập cho người dân địa phương.

On April 20, 2026, KOPIA Vietnam, in collaboration with the Agricultural Science Institute of Northern Central Vietnam (ASINCV), organized a field evaluation meeting to visit and assess the basic peanut seed production model in Phong Nha Commune, Quang Tri Province.

The event was attended by representatives from the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences (VAAS), the Project Management Unit (PMU) for Improving Income and Rural Human Resources in Quang Tri Province, KOICA, KOPIA, ASINCV, representatives of leaders of Phong Nha Commune People’s Committee, representatives of enterprises in the ACIF value chain, cooperatives, extension officers, and local farmers.

The basic seed production model of the L14, L20 peanut variety was implemented in Phong Nha Commune on a scale of 6 hectares. Cultivation and management practices followed the technical guidelines for peanut seed production provided by ASINCV. The results showed that the peanut plants grew well and uniformly, with low pest and disease incidence. The number of filled pods reached 14–16 per plant, with an estimated yield of approximately 2.5 tons/ha. After harvest, this seed will be distributed to farmers in Phong Nha Commune and Cam Lo District for certified seed production in the Summer-Autumn crop of 2026.

On the same day, the delegation also visited and evaluated a peanut production model of farmers under the KOPICA program, in which KOPIA provided seeds at the request of KOICA. This is the second year that KOPIA has supported L20 seeds, with the implementation area expanding from 0.1 ha in 2025 to 0.4 ha in 2026. Field observations indicated that the peanut crop performed well, with uniform growth, low pest and disease incidence, and an estimated yield of about 2.3 tons/ha, approximately 30% higher than crops grown from farm-saved seeds, demonstrating the superior effectiveness of improved varieties and technical interventions.

Through this activity, the area under peanut production using high-quality seeds continues to expand, contributing to improved production efficiency, increased yields, and higher incomes for local farmers.

On April 2, 2026, within the framework of the sericulture project, Viet Nam Sericulture Research Centre (VietSERI), in collaboration with KOPIA Viet Nam and local authorities, distributed more than 500,000 GQ2 mulberry seedlings to farmers in Tuyen Quang and Lao Cai provinces.

Accordingly, the total newly planted area reached 12 hectares. The GQ2 mulberry variety is characterized by high productivity, strong adaptability, and suitability to local soil and climatic conditions.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Min, Deputy Director of VietSERI, said that providing high-quality mulberry varieties not only helps expand raw material areas but also lays the foundation for developing the sericulture value chain in these provinces. In addition, the project will support farmers through technical training on cultivating the new GQ2 mulberry variety and rearing the new silkworm VH2020.

Farmers in Bac Quang commune (Tuyen Quang province) and Quy Mong commune (Lao Cai province) expressed their enthusiasm for the support, expecting that the sericulture model will bring stable income and contribute to local economic development.

THĂM MÔ HÌNH SẢN XUẤT LẠC TẠI TỈNH QUẢNG TRỊ

Vào ngày 17-18/3/2026, KOPIA Việt Nam đã tiến hành chuyến thăm thực địa và tham dự lớp tập huấn quản lý dịch hại trên cây lạc tại tỉnh Quảng Trị.
• Tại xã Cam Lộ (ngày 17/3): Thăm mô hình sản xuất lạc thương phẩm sử dụng nguồn giống lạc xác nhận vụ hè thu 2025 của KOPIA.
• Tại xã Phong Nha (ngày 18/3): Tham dự lớp tập huấn về phòng trừ sâu bệnh cho nông dân trồng lạc địa phương và thăm mô hình sản xuất giống nguyên chủng.
Qua tham quan thực địa và thảo luận với chính quyền địa phương, đoàn ghi nhận cây trồng đang phát triển rất tốt. Nhờ điều kiện thời tiết thuận lợi cùng với việc tuân thủ các hướng dẫn kỹ thuật, tình hình sâu bệnh thấp; hiện tại cây lạc đang trong giai đoạn làm tạo quả.

FIELD VISIT TO PEANUT PRODUCTION MODELS IN QUANG TRI PROVINCE

On March 17th-18th, KOPIA Vietnam conducted a field visit and participated in a pest management training class in Quang Tri Province.
In Cam Lo commune (March 17): Visited the commercial peanut production model utilizing KOPIA’s hight-quality certified seed sources.
In Phong Nha commune (March 18): Attended a training class on pest and disease control for local peanut farmers and visited a basic seed production model.
Through direct field visits and discussions with local authorities, it was observed that the crops are developing well. Favorable weather conditions, along with strict technical guidelines, have resulted in low pest issues, and the crops are currently in the pod formation stage.
