🎶 An evening of Sufi music at HCCT!

On 6 October, the Embassy of Pakistan brought Saakin to Hanoi College of Commerce and Tourism (HCCT) for a dedicated concert celebrating Pakistan’s rich Sufi musical heritage.

With lyrics presented in English and Vietnamese, students and guests connected with the poetry, music and spirit of Sufi traditions. The performance was warmly received by students, faculty, diplomats and media.

The concert marked the 4th collaboration between the Embassy and HCCT, further strengthening the growing Pakistan-Vietnam institutional and cultural connection.

Media coverage of Sufi music from Pakistan being welcomed in Vietnam.

Pakistani Sufi-fusion band Saakin made history with their first-ever performances in Vietnam at the 2nd Cultures of the World Festival, captivating audiences at both the Opening Ceremony and Center Stage.

The musical journey continued with a special Mehfil hosted by the Embassy of Pakistan, bringing the soulful sounds of Pakistan closer to Vietnamese and international audiences.

From powerful Sufi melodies to fusion rhythms, Saakin received an incredible welcome, with an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences.

Saakin’s performances marked a historic milestone as the first-ever appearance of a Pakistani music band in Vietnam.
