After 4 meaningful years of service, Teacher J will now focus on his current business in the Philippines and his teaching career. Because of this change, we are no longer able to continue our money transfer services, including cash pick-up transactions, which we can no longer handle.

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING VND PAYMENTS IN VIETNAM
(Effective from July 1, 2025)

Dear valued customer,

Starting from July 1, 2025, the Vietnamese Tax Authority will officially discontinue the use of personal tax codes, replacing them entirely with personal identification numbers (linked to national ID/CCCD). All bank accounts in Vietnam are now tied to these national IDs, enabling tax and government agencies to easily track, monitor, and assess personal income and the origin of financial transactions.

To ensure legal safety and compliance for both you and the Teacher J system, we will be adjusting the way VND is collected in Vietnam as follows:
👉 We will switch from bank transfers to cash collection.

We understand this change may cause some inconvenience, but please know:

MAJOR CHANGES IN VIETNAM’S BANKING SYSTEM STARTING JULY 1, 2025 🇻

Attention to everyone living in Vietnam—locals and expats! Several new banking regulations will take effect on July 1, 2025, and these changes will impact how we manage our money and conduct transactions.

💳 1. Magnetic Stripe ATM Cards Will Be Disabled
All old ATM cards with only magnetic stripes will be disabled after July 1. You must upgrade to a chip-based ATM card, which is safer and more secure against fraud. Most banks offer free upgrades, either online or at branches.

🧑‍💼 2. Biometric Verification Required for Business and Organization Accounts
If you own a business or represent an organization in Vietnam, you are now required to verify your identity using biometrics (fingerprint or facial recognition) along with your ID. Without this verification, your business account will be frozen, and you won’t be able to make transfers or use online banking.

📄 3. Digital Payment Proof Required for VAT Claims
Even for small business transactions, bank transfers or non-cash payment methods are now required to claim VAT deductions. Cash-only receipts will no longer be accepted for tax purposes.

🏅 4. Proposed Rule for Gold Purchases
There is a draft rule suggesting that gold purchases worth VND 20 million or more must be paid through bank transfer to ensure transparency. While not finalized yet, this could soon become official.
