Participation of Bangladesh in 1st Hanoi World Culture Day, 10-12 October 2025

The First Hanoi World Culture Day was held at the Thang Long Ancient Imperial Citadel from 10 to 12 October 2025. The mega cultural event brought together 48 Embassies and a large number of local and international organizations to celebrate cultural diversity and global harmony.

The Embassy of Bangladesh in Hanoi actively participated in the Festival with a National Pavilion, a Food Booth and a Culinary Show. The Bangladesh Pavilion drew significant attention from both local and international visitors and they expressed great interest to learn about the rich cultural heritage of Bangladesh. Bangladeshi cuisine, showcased at the Food Booth, attracted widespread appreciation for its unique flavors and traditional delicacies.

A Special Session on Bangladeshi Culinary Arts, organized by the Embassy, offered visitors an opportunity to experience the distinct taste and culinary traditions of South West Bangladesh.
In recognition of active and impactful participation, H.E. Mr. Md Lutfor Rahman, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Vietnam, along with other Embassies, received trophy of appreciation from H.E. Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam

The Embassy of Bangladesh expresses its deep gratitude to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and all relevant agencies for organizing such an excellent global cultural event and providing booths, technical supports to Embassies to participate in it. We look forward to the next edition of the festival in near future and assure our continued participation to Vietnam.

Typhoon Ragasa: Weather Alert for Bangladeshi Community in Northern Vietnam

The Embassy of Bangladesh in Hanoi wishes to inform all members of the Bangladeshi community in Northern Vietnam that Typhoon Ragasa is expected to enter the East Sea with strong intensity (winds above 200 km/h) around September 22-23. Forecast shows that this typhoon can make landfall in northern Vietnam around September 25, with coastal provinces from Quảng Ninh to Hà Tĩnh being most directly affected. Hanoi and surrounding areas may also experience heavy rainfall, strong winds, and possible flooding/landslides.
🔺 Safety Precautions Recommended:
• Stay indoors during heavy rain and strong winds.
• Keep essential supplies (drinking water, dry food, flashlight, medicines) ready.
• Avoid unnecessary travel, especially to coastal and mountainous areas.
• Follow local authorities’ advisories and evacuation instructions, if issued.
• Stay connected with community members and inform the Embassy in case of any emergency.

এতদ্বারা লাওসে বসবাসরত প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিদের সদয় অবগতির জন্য জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, হ্যানয়স্থ বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস আগামি ২৬-২৭ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৫ তারিখে ভিয়েনতিয়েন শহরে নিম্নে বর্ণিত সময় ও তারিখে ভ্রাম্যমাণ কনস্যুলার ক্যাম্পের মাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশি নাগরিকদের প্রয়োজনীয় কনস্যুলার সেবা প্রদান করবে:

* নতুন ই-পাসপোর্টের জন্য আবেদনপত্র ও ফিঙ্গারপ্রিন্ট গ্রহণ;
* ই-পাসপোর্ট নবায়নের আবেদন গ্রহণ;
* NVR-এর আবেদন গ্রহণ এবং NVR ইস্যু; * ডকুমেন্ট সত্যায়ন [সীমিত আকারে];
* ট্রাভেল পারমিট আবেদন গ্রহণ (যাদের বাংলাদেশী পাসপোর্টের মেয়াদ অতিক্রান্ত হয়েছে এবং জরুরি ভিত্তিতে বাংলাদেশে যেতে হবে কেবল তাদের জন্য)।

প্রয়োজনীয় সকল ডকুমেন্টের মূলকপি ও ফটোকপি সাথে আনার জন্য এবং সরকার কর্তৃক নির্ধারিত কনস্যুলার সেবা ফি প্রদানের স্লিপ সাথে আনার জন্য সেবা গ্রহিতাদের বিনীত অনুরোধ জানানো যাচ্ছে।
