After decades of dedicated service, leadership, and commitment to the mission, Col Berger completed his fini flight as the Deputy Commander of the 62d Airlift Wing.
A fini flight marks the end of an incredible chapter in aviation and military service, celebrating a career spent leading Airmen, supporting global mobility operations, and advancing the mission wherever called.

The flight offered a firsthand look at the mission, readiness, and teamwork behind America’s rapid global mobility force while strengthening the partnership between Team McChord and the local community.

Airmen from the 62d Maintenance Squadron recently came together to clean a large stretch of Perimeter Road, spending nearly two hours collecting trash and restoring the area. 🚮
A clean base reflects the pride we take in our mission, our community and the place we call home. Every effort, big or small helps create a better environment for everyone at JBLM while keeping the mission moving forward. 💪

Julius A. Kolb Airman Leadership School class 26-C put their strength, teamwork and resilience to the test during the recent inaugural Commandant’s Crucible.
