🎓 HO CHI MINH CITY OPEN UNIVERSITY RANKS 601–800 AMONG ASIA’S BEST UNIVERSITIES IN TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION 2026
📈 On April 23, 2026, Times Higher Education (United Kingdom) officially announced the THE Asia University Rankings 2026.
📌 Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City Open University was placed in the 601–800 band, and ranked among the top 7 out of 11 Vietnamese higher education institutions listed.
📊 The ranking is based on five key criteria: Teaching (24.5%), Research Environment (28%), Research Quality (30%), International Outlook (7.5%), and Industry Income (10%). Notably, the University achieved encouraging results in Research Quality and International Outlook, with scores of 58.9 and 39.2, respectively, as evaluated by Times Higher Education.
📌 This achievement not only reflects the University’s sustained efforts but also opens up further opportunities to strengthen international collaboration and enhance the quality of teaching and research in the years ahead.

AN OVERWHELMING SENSE OF EMOTION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AT HO CHI MINH CITY OPEN UNIVERSITY THROUGH THE FILM “ĐÀO, PHỞ, PIANO”
🌟 Lim Meymey - a student from Cambodia, shared that she initially thought the film was simply about cuisine and daily life (because of the word "Phở" in the title). However, the reality provided a completely different experience.

The film gave me a deeper understanding of Vietnamese history and the resilience of its people.
