Always be reminded of Article 1 of our Constitution :

The Republic of Vanuatu is a sovereign democratic state.

The challenge of forming and maintaining a stable Government to serve its full mandate has been around for over 32 years now. We must learn our lessons and urgently address this issue now. The practice of keeping MPs in camps to secure a required majority to form a Government is one thing but the sharing of Ministerial portfolios and the merging and prioritization of policies from different political parties and groupings in a coalition arrangement is another thing.
And for reforms and changes to happen, we need good men and women with Intergrity, Strenght and Leadership qualities to drive those changes.
That is the reason why we the people must play our role with responsibility in choosing our political leaders during elections. The MPs are our servants, stewards and mouthpieces. As our preamble says:

There is indeed an urgent need for the Government to address our domestic warfs facilities in the capital city Port Vila to assist the trading of goods and the inter-island travelling of our citizens and visiting friends.

Determined to serve the communities of Port Vila and Efate including offshore islands. LEADERS must establish and maintain a relationship with the people always. A very challenging but important duty indeed.
