Smt. Neha Das, ANM, Mayangpara AAM, visited BMCH to review the progress of a patient undergoing treatment in the ICU.

As informed by the treating medical team, the patient has shown encouraging clinical improvement and remains under close observation and multidisciplinary care.

Counselling and moral support were provided to the patient's family, with emphasis on continuing treatment as advised by the treating doctors.

An ICU visit was conducted to review the condition and ongoing treatment of a critically ill obstetric patient at BMCH, by ASHA and Sectoral Medical Officer, Barengabari MPHC.

The patient is receiving multidisciplinary care from the Medicine and Gynaecology teams. As reported by the treating doctors, some clinical improvement has been observed, while intensive treatment and close monitoring continue.

Cheque & Letter of Appreciation Distribution Programme under Sewa Sankalpa Abhiyan.

Under Sewa Sankalpa Abhiyan, District Health Society, Baksa, organised a Cheque and Letter of Appreciation Distribution Programme for ASHAs and ASHA Supervisors of Baksa and Manas LACs on 11th October 2026 at Cultural Complex, Mushalpur.

LAC-wise Health Review Meeting – Baksa LAC

The LAC-wise Health Review Meeting for Baksa LAC was held today, chaired by Shri Maneswar Brahma, Hon’ble MLA, Baksa LAC, in the presence of Shri Jituraj Gogoi, ACS, ADC (Health), Baksa; Shri Nilu Brahma, DHS, BTC, Kokrajhar; Jt. DHS, Baksa; district health officials; and health functionaries from across Baksa LAC.

The meeting comprehensively reviewed key health indicators, service delivery, programme performance, and existing gaps across the LAC. Emphasis was laid on strengthening healthcare services, improving performance at facility and community levels, and ensuring coordinated action for better health outcomes.

LAC-Wise Health Review Meeting | Manas LAC

The LAC-wise Health Review Meeting for Manas LAC was held today, 5th October 2026, at the Cultural Complex, Mushalpur, chaired by Shri Thaneswar Basumatary, Hon’ble MLA, Manas LAC.

The meeting was attended by Mrs. Amrita Dutta, ACS, Assistant Commissioner, Baksa, Jt. DHS, Baksa, officials from District HQ, Nodal Officers of Vertical Programmes and DPMU, BPMU officials under Manas LAC, Sectoral MOs, CHOs and other health functionaries.

A comprehensive review of the health demography, key health indicators and healthcare service delivery across Manas LAC was undertaken. Discussions focused on programme performance, existing service gaps, challenges and priority actions for further improving health outcomes in the LAC.

The meeting emphasized coordinated efforts at all levels to ensure accessible, quality and responsive healthcare services for the people of Manas LAC.
