Following the detection of a P. vivax malaria case, fever screening camps and bed net impregnation activities were conducted in forest camps under Baksa district as part of control and preventive measures.

Bed Net Impregnation Camp along with fever survey and community awareness activities conducted at Bhogpur village, Supa area under Rabangguri AAM.

Health teams sensitized the community on prevention and control of malaria through proper use of insecticide-treated mosquito nets, maintaining clean surroundings, and early testing of fever cases. Door-to-door fever screening was also carried out to identify suspected malaria cases at the earliest.

Community members were requested to immediately visit nearby health facilities or contact ASHA/health workers if anyone develops fever, chills, headache, or body pain. Together, we can prevent malaria and protect our villages.

Door-to-door visits and fever screening activities are being carried out by health workers in malaria-prone and affected areas as part of intensified malaria control measures.

Field teams are actively screening fever cases, creating awareness on early testing and treatment, promoting use of mosquito nets, and sensitizing the community regarding prevention of mosquito breeding and malaria transmission.
