Bordi i Këshillit për Akreditimin e Arsimit të Lartë (CHEA) në SHBA e ka pranuar për shtatë vjet (deri me 31.12.2033) Agjencinë e Kosovës për Akreditim, me statusin e “autoritetit akreditues” në Shtetet e Bashkuara të Amerikës. Në njoftimin zyrtar të dërguar Drejtorit të Përgjithshëm të AKA-së, Naim Gashi, Loretta C. Waldron, Zëvendëspresidente për Shërbime të Njohjes në Këshillin për Akreditimin e Arsimit të Lartë në SHBA, konfirmon se “Bordi i Drejtorëve të CHEA-s ka miratuar rekomandimin e Komitetit dhe e ka njohur Agjencinë e Kosovës për Akreditim si autoritet akreditues”.

The Board of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the USA has recognized the Kosovo Accreditation Agency for seven years (until 31.12.2033), with the status of a “recognized authority” in the United States of America. In the official notification sent to the General Director of KAA, Naim Gashi, Loretta C. Waldron, Vice President for Recognition Services at the Council for Higher Education Accreditation in the USA, confirms that “the CHEA Board of Directors has approved the recommendation of the Committee and has recognized the Kosovo Accreditation Agency as an accrediting authority.”

Në mbledhjen e 148-të të rregullt, të mbajtur më 20 prill 2026, Këshilli Shtetëror i Cilësisë (KSHC) miratoi raportin vjetor të punës së Agjencisë së Kosovës për Akreditim (AKA) për vitin 2025. Raporti i dorëzuar në Kuvendin e Republikës së Kosovës, do të publikohet në tri gjuhë në ueb-faqen zyrtare të AKA-së, në funksion të transparencës institucionale dhe informimit të publikut.

At its 148th regular meeting, held on 20 April 2026, the State Council of Quality (SCQ) approved the annual work report of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA) for 2025. The report, which has been submitted to the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, will be published in three languages on the official website of the KAA, in the interest of institutional transparency and public information.

Ky dokument përcakton procedurat dhe masat teknike e organizative që duhet të zbatohen për garantimin e sigurisë, konfidencialitetit dhe integritetit të të dhënave personale gjatë përpunimit dhe ruajtjes së tyre.

The Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection, has drafted and approved the Guideline on Personal Data Protection. This document sets out the procedures and the technical and organizational measures to be implemented in order to ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of personal data throughout its processing and storage.

Within the framework of its strategic orientations aimed at internationalizing the higher education system in Kosovo and strengthening international cooperation in the field of quality assurance, the Director General of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), Naim Gashi, together with KAA Senior Official for post-accreditation procedures, Fjollë Ajeti, conducted an official visit to Arizona State University (ASU) in the United States of America, which is the largest public university in the United States under a single administration.

Drejtori i Përgjithshëm i Agjencisë së Kosovës për Akreditim, Naim Gashi, në adresimin e tij para Bordit të Këshillit për Akreditimin e Arsimit të Lartë (CHEA) në SHBA, theksoi se Republika e Kosovës ka ndërtuar një sistem modern dhe të pavarur të sigurimit të cilësisë në arsimin e lartë, plotësisht në përputhje me standardet ndërkombëtare. Ai nënvizoi se Kosova, si një nga vendet më proamerikane në botë, e sheh bashkëpunimin me Shtetet e Bashkuara si një partneritet strategjik për zhvillimin e arsimit të lartë dhe se njohja e AKA-së nga CHEA do të forconte më tej lidhjet akademike ndërmjet universiteteve të Kosovës dhe atyre amerikane.

The Director General of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, Naim Gashi, in his address before the Board of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the United States, emphasized that the Republic of Kosovo has built a modern and independent quality assurance system in higher education, fully aligned with international standards. He underlined that Kosovo, as one of the most pro-American countries in the world, views cooperation with the United States as a strategic partnership for the development of higher education, and that the recognition of KAA by CHEA would further strengthen academic ties between universities in Kosovo and those in the United States.

Drejtori i Përgjithshëm i Agjencisë së Kosovës për Akreditim (AKA), Naim Gashi, dhe zyrtarja e lartë e AKA-së, Fjollë Ajeti, më 9 mars 2026 morën pjesë në takimin e Bordit të Komitetit të Pranimit të Këshillit për Akreditimin e Arsimit të Lartë (CHEA) në Shtetet e Bashkuara të Amerikës, i mbajtur në Uashington, D.C., ku u shqyrtua aplikacioni i AKA-së në kuadër të procesit të njohjes si autoritet akreditues. Gjatë sesionit publik të takimit, anëtarët e Bordit të CHEA-së shqyrtuan materialet e paraqitura nga AKA dhe parashtruan pyetje lidhur me aplikacionin, funksionimin e Agjencisë, standardet e sigurimit të cilësisë, si dhe zhvillimet në sistemin e arsimit të lartë në Republikën e Kosovës.

On 9 March 2026, Naim Gashi, Director General of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), and Fjollë Ajeti, Senior Official of KAA, took part in the meeting of the Committee on Recognition of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the United States of America, held in Washington, D.C., where KAA’s application was reviewed as part of the recognition process for accrediting authorities. During the public session of the meeting, members of the CHEA Board examined the materials submitted by KAA and asked questions about the application, the functioning of the Agency, quality assurance standards, and developments within the higher education system of the Republic of Kosovo.
