📢 We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of key activities related to the ASK Data platform financed the project, "Support to strengthening the statistical system of Kosovo 2019-2023," and the following achievement:
🏛️ Presentation at Universities: We delivered impressive presentations on the progress made in populating the ASK Data platform with tables from various subject areas. The new infrastructure implemented by the project left a lasting impact on our audience.
🎓 Promoting Data Usage: Our efforts to promote the use of the KAS Data Platform for statistical research and data analysis at universities and among stakeholders have yielded great results.
📚 Educational Material: We prepared and distributed short folders explaining the PX-Web solution and data extraction methods, enabling students and stakeholders to access and use the platform effectively.
🤝 Building Cooperation: We successfully established collaborative bridges with public and private universities, fostering strong relationships for future data sharing and research endeavors.
📊 Data Analysis and Validation: Rigorous control, validation, and analysis of statistical data were conducted on the ASK Data platform to ensure accuracy and reliability.
👩‍💼 Meetings and Support: We engaged with university staff, addressing specific data requests and providing necessary request for the optimal use of the ASK Data platform.
📝 Technical Deliverables: Essential technical documentation, presentation plans, design reports, and other documents were created and submitted as part of the project.
📈 Platform Enhancements: Valuable inputs from stakeholders and universities led to the implementation of additional modules and folders, further enriching the platform.
We are immensely proud of the impact the ASK Data platform has made in strengthening statistical research and data analysis in Kosovo. Special thanks to our dedicated team and all project stakeholders for their support and collaboration throughout the journey!

On 17 of March delegation from University of Prishtina, KAS and SSSK project visited Tirana INSTAT and the representatives of Master's Program in Statistics. The main purpose of the visit was to see how the Master's program in Statistics applies in Tirana University.

SSSK project is happy to share the news that the new server we got has arrived. We as a project are happy we continue supporting KAS. We believe in it.

The picture shows a happy moment when our project's Interns were informed about the extention of contract for a few months more with KAS . As a project , We are grateful for the support from Sida, and KAS. All this was possible to happen as a result of outstanding work and great results our Interns has shown during all this period of time. Special thanks goes to our Team Leader Gillian Green who always believed in them.

Today the Project Strengthening of the Statistical System of Kosovo 2019-2023 and KAS has signed the Contract for Website Development and Maintenance Services for KAS website with PBC SH.P.K local company.

Project Strengthening of the Statistical System of Kosovo 2019-2023 wishes all our friends Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2023. May new year bring joy, happines and good health to everyone.

As the festive season is coming, SSSK Project has organised a " Cake Competetion " in KAS . The employees have made home cakes and the judges Ariana and Vesa - both from SSSK project has judged the cakes. The first winner Laureta Haziri got a price 50 E, dhe second 20 and both third places 10 E.

KAS meeting with Ukshin Hoti University Prizren

Following the meetings organised by our project SSSK , with Public universities in the Republic of Kosovo, dated 23/11/2022, the Staff of KAS, consisting of Ibrahim Rrustemi, director of the Department for Policy, Planning, Coordination and Communication (DPPKK), Fatmir Morina, director of the Department for National Accounts, as well as Mrs. Gillian Green, representative of the SSSK project in KAS, in the premises of Ukshin Hoti University in Prizren, was received in a meeting by the management of UUH Mr. Prof.Assoc.Dr. Samedin Krrabaj Rector of the University "Ukshin Hoti" Prizren, Prof. Ass.Dr. Zirije Hasani, Vice Rectors for Teaching, Student Affairs and Scientific Research as well as Prof. Asst. Dr. Adelina Rakaj, vice rector for financial matters

This week the Conference "Population Census Week 2023" will be held from 8-11 November in Prishtina, Sirius hotel. The SSSK Team leader Gillian Green had an presentation on " European Sfatistics Code of Practice".
